Road to Stress Release Tip #7: Soothing Aromas

Oils of anise, basil, eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, rose and Ginger are all soothing, Place a few bits ofrock salt in a small vial, and then add a couple drops of your preferred oil. The rock salt absorbs the oil and is much less risky to carry around in your purse than a bottle of oil. Open the vial and breathe in the scent whenever you need a quick stress release. Essential oils have an effect on the limbic system of the brain and therefore they can be used for stress relief as well as emotional support.
