Optimism always affects your quality of life. Optimism enables you to cope better with stressful situations along with reduce the effects of stress on your body. Positive thinking starts with self-talk. Self-talk is the endless stream of unspoken thoughts that passes on every second. Some of your self-talk comes from logic and reason but some may arise from misconceptions that you create because of lack of information. When you think positively, you are likely an optimist. Having a positive outlook enables you to cope better with stressful situations that reduce the harmful health effects of stress on your body.
